Capcon LLC is a general contractor based in Great Falls, Montana. Capcon LLC also operates Cotterpin, equipment maintenance software used by construction contractors. This policy covers both capconmt.com and the Cotterpin application at cotterpin.app.
TEXT MESSAGES (SMS)
Capcon LLC does not share mobile information or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Mobile information is used only to deliver the one-time sign-in code you requested. It is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.
What we send. Cotterpin sends one type of text message: a one-time passcode used to sign in to the Cotterpin application. We send no marketing, promotional or informational texts.
How you opt in. A worker opens the Cotterpin sign-in form at https://cotterpin.app/login, enters their own mobile number and taps "Send me a code". Directly beneath that button the form states that by tapping it they agree to receive a one-time sign-in code by text from Cotterpin, that message and data rates may apply, and that they may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Tapping that button is the opt-in, and it is the only action that causes a text message to be sent.
Message frequency. One message each time a sign-in code is requested.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply.

WHAT WE COLLECT
For capconmt.com: only what you send us through a contact form or by email, such as your name, your contact details, and whatever you choose to tell us about your project.
For Cotterpin: the mobile number your employer enters so you can sign in, your name and role, and the equipment records, service history, photos and scan locations your company creates while using the software.
HOW WE USE IT
To provide the service you asked for, and for nothing else. We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We use a small number of service providers to operate the software, for hosting, database and text-message delivery. They process data only on our instructions and only to deliver the service.
YOUR CHOICES
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will respond.
